Proposed Sonic® touch screen ordering system.

This system is being proposed as an addition to current Sonic® method of ordering. I've not explored it as a replacement to pressing the red button and ordering with a live person, but this whole idea came out of frustration with all types of mic/speaker ordering.

I've included several screens and a mock up (to the best of my ability) of what the system could look like at a sonic stand.

First off a welcome/intro screen. I envisage a screen playing sonic® commercials and advertising the latest drinks/blasts etc.

Second is an 'in progress' order screen. There is an example of what the foods could look like with pricing and combo options. I've included an instruction bar to help the customer with tips, it has a current order total and the option to checkout or start over. There is a 'help' option displayed at all times if the customer gets confused about their options. Testing and running through the order process will help bring new ideas and options together.

Third is a 'checkout' screen. It shows the order total, what the customer has ordered and also an 'ad' on the left side to up sell products. Maybe if they didn't order a drink or you can suggest 'large fries?' or 'add chili to your tots?'
